I'm Heather, a small town girl who's always had big dreams.  After moving away for college, I found my way back to Central Wisconsin and settled in Wausau in 2005.  Fast forward to 2009 and I would gift myself my first DSLR for my birthday. As a stay-at-home mom at the time, I had nothing to lose by diving headfirst into creating a business.  I also had the cutest subject to practice on with another little bundle on the way. 

Way back in those beginning days, I focused on weddings.  This gave me the best of both worlds. I got to be a mom all week long and then, got to be ME again on the weekends.  It was the perfect marriage (pun totally intended). 

However; as my kids grew it became apparent to me that my company while growing needed to shift gears a bit so I could still have that perfect marriage between being a mom and business owner.  I officially said a bittersweet goodbye to wedding photography in 2018 and dove back into portraiture.

My three kids still keep me plenty busy and take up most of my evenings and weekends with their sporting events.  However; I am blessed to be able to still offer beautiful portrait sessions several evenings and weekends each year to amazing children, families and incoming seniors.  I am so excited to be entering year number 16 of capturing memories!
